EDUCATION overview
This education utilises an evidence-based framework to equip health professionals with the communication skills necessary for effectively engaging with patients facing life-limiting illnesses and their families. Participants will gain an understanding of how to incorporate patients' values and preferences into care plans, ensuring that treatment is both compassionate and person-centred.

The in-person education features simulation-based learning, where participants engage in role-play scenarios with professional actors as the simulated patient. These realistic scenarios provide opportunities to practice and refine communication techniques. A Communication Facilitator provides real-time feedback, guiding participants in navigating patient values and collaboratively developing tailored treatment plans through shared decision-making.
